Hi all,

I have in issue in Windows Essentials - Photo Gallery when I move a window (in preview or editor) around the screen, edit an image (crop, auto adjust etc) or just click to the next photo I get large white lines/squares in the upper left corner of the image. If I just view the image it is fine but the moment I move/resize the window or apply a filter/crop/auto-adjust and sometimes when clicking to the next image, the issue arises. I have tried different monitors. I have swapped dvi/hdmi cables. I have done a full un-install and re-install of the latest drivers for my video card (ASUS R9 280x and yes, I removed every trace of the old driver inc. registry entries). I have a dual monitor set-up and disabling extended desktop does not solve the problem. I have tried re-installing Windows Photo Gallery also. This only happens in Photo Gallery and no other image editing programs.

I have attached some images to help explain what I am talking about, notice the top left hand corner of the image being edited. I've tried googling with no avail as I don't even know what this is called... 'artifacting' perhaps? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's a real pain to edit photos when you have to keep clicking back and fourth between images to try and remove the squares. Yes, I could use another editor but I really like Photo Gallery, it's nice and simple.

Thanks!
