when i try a import a video from my sony camcorder memery chip widows move maker tells me The file C:\Users\me\Videos\00001.MTS is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.. why. 

what can i do. i have seen on youtube other people using MTS files on movie maker. how come i cant.
