I guess my question is twofold.

Fist my issue: Movie Maker was fine until about a month ago. Now I go to edit and at the top of my screen gets all sparkley and then it tells me there is an error and needs to asks me if I want to start in Safe Mode. This doesn't damage what I was editing but it's a huge pain to restart all the time.

A) What can be done to resolve this and B) if I cannot resolve and I remove Essentials and/or Movie Maker and upload new? I'm using a Gateway with Windows 7 Ultimate. Thank you.
