There are other threads about this already, but I'm posting to ask how to report the bug and a fix.

Problem: When I open up Movie Maker, open a saved project, and click "Play" to play the movie I've made so far, the audio breaks across my system. I have to disable my playback device and enable it again to get sound back. However, that doesn't fix the problem for Movie Maker (still can't play the movie otherwise audio breaks again).

I'm on Windows 8.1. The solution I found to this problem was to run Movie Maker in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. Then the audio never breaks. How can I report this bug / work-around to Microsoft so that they can take a look into it?
