I have win movie maker. I had to buy the windows dvd player (for win 10) b/c i could not open my dvds that i am copying on my magnavox vhs/dvd player.

the dvd's now open in a window that only allows me to view. so now i want to open them in WMM so i can crop and edit to make a new movie....

The dvd from the magnavox player has several files (vob is one of them)

when i tell WMM to add video, i can find the file on my drives, but WMM only opens 1 frame, not the whole video.

how can i either 1. edit the video in dvd player or 2. open these files in movie maker?

so frustrated...
