now I KNOW what you're going to tell me, but yes. I have it on widescreen mode and all of my pictures are exactly 1080x720. so why is it doing this? what can I do to fix it?

I've been searching for hours on the internet to figure out whats happening and all of the explanations are with videos specifically, but mine is with photos (pngs to be specific) 

how to i remove the black borders?
