I am trying to edit a webcam video taken with Windows Camera by cutting out excess clips from the full video.  I imported the whole video into Movie Maker.  I have clipped parts I do not want out and the video runs the way I would like it when played in Movie Maker.  However, when I save the file, either .mp4 or .wmv; each separate clip is cut off by 1.5 seconds, or completely.

Input file:

webcam video

.mp4

720p HD

I have a seamless video in Movie Maker, but a choppy, messed up video after saving.

OS Windows 8.1

I have tried to save both formats and even tried to save the new video with the same settings as the imported video.  I have searched online for hours and can not find the same problem.
