My version of Windows Movie Maker has encountered a fatal error that has rendered it useless. It started about 4 days ago and hasn't ceased since.
Every time I try to save a movie or a video, even a 20-second long Viewer Discretion Warning video, the Movie Maker malfunctions and fails to finish saving the video, claiming that there is not enough memory to complete the save, which is stupid, considering the computer still has 1.75GB of it's 2.00GB RAM left, and 81.5GB left in the hard drive.
If this problem is not resolved soon, I will have no choice but to remove Windows Movie Maker ( which could result in damage to the system and nullify the warranty ) and buy a replacement software, which I shouldn't have to do. This is one of the core programs that came with my Windows 7 Professional, so it shouldn't be malfunctioning like this.
I am very sorry, Microsoft, but as someone who has used Movie Maker for years ( since the early days of the Windows XP ) without any issues, I do not take kindly to the program suddenly dropping dead on me. You got some work to do to make up for Movie Makers recent pitiful performance.
I am running Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1 ( this computers default service pack ). Below is a snip with some of the computers specs. I will post the rest as they are needed.
