Hello Microsoft Community!

I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been working on a project all day today to compile a bunch of GoPro footage I have. Windows Movie Maker was doing fine other than the occasional random shut down it would do. After several hours of working though, it was shutting down more frequently. I didn't think anything of it until I went to reopen the file a couple of hours ago and it gave me the error message of "Sorry, Movie Maker can't open this project file. The file might not be compatible with Movie Maker or be corrupted. Please select a different project file." I am using the most current version of Movie Maker and the only file types I was using in the project were mp3 and mp4. I contacted Microsoft Support a little while ago and they had me restore the computer, but I am still getting the same error message. Does anyone have any suggestions or am I completely out of luck?
