...because the darn mf.dll is missing.
I have tried to install the Media Feature Packs for both Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 but they both end up telling me "This is not applicable to your computer or something like that.
I used DLL-Files Fixer and admittedly, it put the mf.dll on there but after, it tells me the mf.PLATdll or something is missing and you can only use the files fixer for free one time.
I've gone on Command Prompt and typed in what was necessary (as suggested by someone else here) and it does not work.
I've tried to download it from a different source - again, it doesn't work.
What more do you want me to do? Besides, it should be working the FIRST TIME AROUND.
This has been going on for weeks now and I'm getting a tad bit sick of not being able to use Movie Maker - it's a good service. You need to tell me how to fix it - and in the right way, as well.
