I am using Windows Mail app (Essentials 2012) in Windows 8.1 64 bit.

A message I have received in my hotmail account does not display any text in Windows mail just blank white space.  There is an attachment file shown ATT00001 which when I save and open in notepad contains the message text.  Other messages sent by this person display OK

If I log in to my hotmail account directly then the message displays fine.  It's also OK using the mail app on an andriod tablet.

I have tried repairing Windows Essentials but this did not have any effect.

Can anybody offer any help please.
