Windows Live – validating the ownership of a domain

I have been trying to set up an email account for a custom domain that I have.

I'm at the stage where I need to verify that I own the domain.

As far as I can tell, I've entered the necessary MX records to satisfy the request, but the validation appears to be failing.

I can't really tell at this point what the reason for the failure is.

Any help would be appreciated.
