Hi

I've recently upgraded to W10 on 2 machines, both of which were running W7.  Everything is fine (now I've sorted out a few teething problems) except for Windows Live (Essentials) programmes.  On one of the machines, none of the programmes which form part of Windows Live (Movie Maker, Writer, Live Mail etc.) will run.  The other machine is perfectly OK.

When I click on the Movie Maker icon (for example), absolutely nothing happens - no error messages and no disc activity.  I have started Task Manager and tried again and the Process starts briefly in the "Background Processes" list and then disappears.  It does not show in the "Apps" list at the top of Task Manager at all, so it clearly doesn't start even though the process does.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Regards

Bill
