I am suddenly having a problem with uploading pics from my Canon SX 120 IS digital camera using Windows Live Photo Gallery.  Up till recently, I would open up Windows Live, click on the icon "import pics" & then I would connect my camera.  The little box would pop up showing the camera was connected & then i'd click on "import".  The last time I was able to upload pics from my camera was on 6/7/14.  I was having some issues with the Norton anti-virus so I contacted Norton Tech Support to ask for help.  They told me that an updated version of the Norton program needed to be installed & they did that for me right away.  That was back on 6/10/14 & ever since then i've been having problems with uploading pics from my camera using Windows Live.  When I connect the camera I no longer hear that chiming sound that I usually hear when I plug in the camera to the PC, now I hear some low toned sounds of some kind (hard to describe), but, when I unplug my camera, then I hear the familiar sounding chimes??

I'm not very computer savvy & I don't know how to look for things that might be causing the problem.  I'm hoping that someone out there will be able to steer me in the right direction so I can start uploading my pics again.  Thanks much!
