I wanted to quickly tag a vast number of photos, a few at a time. One site suggested Windows Live Photo Gallery which I brought up, It is version 2011 running on my Windows 7 platform. All of my photos were already showing so I went into the first "home"
pull down and chose "Include Photos" and then, from that window "removed everything that was there. I then "added" the directory which is on my One drive and contains all family photos (prob., 100,000 as both my husband and I are photographers and scan a
lot as well). I th en got the message that said "Windows removed the location from your library but couldn't stop sharing" Sharing shouldn't be impacted in any way, nor the location. What does the message mean? I don't want to move them, only tag them,
with teh tag applicable to the file, not ther location or who is sharing it. Is that what the message is saying or could it be something different (like removed the file). If I am looking at them in Live Photo Galleryand it more like a library (i.e. a shortcut
to the photo, which, when I tag, will kick in in the location on One Drive where they reside? I don't want to do a thing that moves my photos. B
