Windows Live Movie Maker not working properly

Hi,

I am using Windows 7 Premium (64BIT) and am having problem with Movie Maker (MM).  Have also downloaded Essentials 2012.

when i open MM, i can add in music and photos.  However, when i click on PLAY, i can only hear the music but the screen is BLACK.

When i click and save as a Movie and play back, the pictures appear fine.

Please help URGENTLY!
