I am not understanding what is going on.  I was able to create and save a movie, with edits, last week, with no problem.  Today, I'm trying to save a movie that I created, it works fine while in the program but if I burn it to dvd, or try to save to  anything else, even the desktop, it will not save the edits I made while in the program.  It's a video that I've trimmed.  I trimmed, added the music, have everything set.  I saved it to the folder as a wlmp file.   After initial save, I have tried saving it on a dvd, a cd, to the desktop, to YouTube, standard definition...   in every occasion, it reverts to the unedited version ...the music still plays but obviously now out of place.  Or, it will have the edited version but have the talking and such from the trimmed off portion of the movie, playing in the midst of everything else.   Interestingly, then...when I go back into Windows Live Movie Maker and pull up the original saved wlmp file, it will play the weirdo version first... but the 2nd time, will play the edited, correct version.

I have tried restoring Windows to before a previous update, the last time it worked fine.  That would not complete since it said they were critical window updates.  So, restoring is out.  I've made no changes at all, that would create this wacky behavior.  I very desperately need this to work.  It worked fine just last week.  (sigh)  If someone can help me fix this, I will owe them a pizza!!!!    I have WIN7 / Service Pack 1.  It is the same file type that worked successfully just last week.  I've tried everything I can think of...  It's making me nuts!  (sniffle)  HELP!
