So this strange thing happened to me today when I was editing some clips in Windows Live Movie Maker.
I was adding quite a lot of effects and all of the sudden I got a message that some of the footage was not compatible with Windows Live Movie Maker. Before, I had used the same footage in the same project and it was doing just fine. So I saved the project as a new project, closed Movie Maker and restarted it. Now there are no errors, but the only thing that is showing are the titles I added. I can see all my changes in the footage and even the names of the original files are showing, but the actual video does not contain any audio or video on the screen. I checked and the original files are all unharmed. I restarted my computer, but it did not work. Have I tried to add to much effects in one video and was Movie Maker just not able to handle it? Have I lost all my work and do I need to start over again from scratch? Help is very much appreciated.
