I currently run Windows Live Movie Maker (the latest version) and I was making a video and it randomly stopped working. I thought nothing of this because it had happened before and it usually just works again when I reopen it but when I reopened it, it said "would you like to recover the file?". I clicked no because every time before this, the regular file opens fine. But when I went to open the files, it was corrupted and I can't open it what so ever. I tried to repair the windows movie maker with wlarp but it did nothing. I am currently extremely sad because I spent hours working on that. I did not make backups because this had never happened before but I am wondering if there is any way I can recover this corrupted file.

I also read these articles and the dedicated forum is down:
