I just updated to  Windows 10, and Live Movie Maker won't accept any video files. It just says that the file is damaged even though it is not damaged. The file itself is fine, but Live Movie Maker won't accept it.  This happens with both MP4s and AVI files.

I uninstalled the program, and then reinstalled it.  Now Live Movie Maker will show the files, but the audio is messed up.  When the AVI or MP4 file first loads into the program, it says that the audio has to load, which takes a little while longer. But then the audio is glitchy and scratchy and full of static.

I have already had so many problems with Live Movie Maker in the past, and I'm getting sick of all these weird bugs. Why can't this program just work properly?  WHY wasn't there an updated and better version of Live Movie Maker included with Windows 10?  The only reason I upgraded to 10 was in the hope of a better video editing program.

Is there something I can do to get Live Movie Maker working?  Is there a newer version of the program that I can download, or another similar program with the same layout?
