I'm Running Windows Movie Maker version 2012 on Windows 8.1. I can't burn a DVD.  On the home tab "save video drop down there is no "Burn a DVD" option.

I can just click "save Movie" and an MP4 video file is made. The file plays with "Windows Media Player" and on my computer but not on my DVD player.

SO, I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS: 1. Why doesn't the "Save Video drop down have the option " Burn DVD" ?

                                                 2. Why doesn't the MP4 DVD I burned with "Windows Media Player" work on my DVD player. I think it doesn't play because my DVD player doesn't support MP4. I do get a message "can't read video file". How can I convert the video to another format that may work?
