Hi. I am running Windows 8.1, and up until a few weeks ago (? not sure exactly), I could see images in my received emails and copy then paste an image from the web into an email I was composing. Suddenly, Windows Live Mail will do neither of those things. I (of course) have "Block images & other external content in HTML emails" unchecked. I've tried temporarily disabling my security program (nothing happens) and my Windows Firewall (nada). I've run out of ideas. Any suggestions? Have any new Windows Updates taken away this functionality in Windows Live Mail? (I only use Windows Live Mail as a desktop client--I despise web-based email or using "the cloud.")

I hope this information helps. Anybody have a solution? (I am only a moderately-experienced computer user. Step-by-step instructions will work for me. Using a lot of tech-y programmer language will be useless to me. Thanks so much in advance.)
