I have been having trouble getting my Windows Live Mail 2012 to open. When I try to open it, it says "receiving messages" on the bottom of my screen in the taskbar, but it continues to do nothing all day. It shows a green progress bar as though it's actually doing something, but it never completes the task. The only way I can actually get my email is by going directly to the server.  I just bought this computer with Windows 8.1 a couple of months ago. I can get the mail to work on my old laptop but not on this one. This has gone on for a couple of days now. It's happened before sporadically.. It will work one day but not the next. 

Can you please help me?
