I have two Hotmail accounts. After upgrading to Windows 10, I get the message when I try to sync one of the accounts. The other Hotmail account works fine.
Unable to send or receive messages for (my account name)
Server Error: 0x800488A6"
I have seen this problem reported in several places, but haven't found a solution that works. Can you help?
First of all make sure that you have signed into your account in a web browser, you will probably be asked to confirm your account security settings. After you done this you can try to use Windows Live Mail.
If this doesnt do the trick you can setup your account manually in WLM. Follow the steps in the link below
