I have seen posts in the past about windows live mail getting this message when using with gmail imap server:

  Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems or a long period of inactivity.

I have set my server timeout in Windows Live Mail to 5 minutes - but still constantly get the message.

Has anyone found a solution for this?
