Just a few days ago - Windows Live Mail - which has been operating on Windows 10 since I installed 10 months ago stopped working and I get the following message
Server Response: The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.
Server: 'IMAP.charter.net'

Protocol: IMAP
Port: 143
Secure(SSL): No
I have run Essentials repair - I have tried switching to POP - I have contacted the server techies also - but to no avail. I have created a new account - and it added all the data from the IMAP account on this computer - but then failed with the same message
when the 'get' tried to execute.
Also tried to sync Windows 10 new mail program - and it will not sync.
Is this a Windows 10 problem - if so it is new? If it is a server problem - then they should have experienced this with other customers.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
