Help please, have had Windows Live Mail on desk top for some years now and no issues at all. Then about 4 months ago error codes kept popping up and now cannot receive emails via this route have to go through the internet etc.

Unable to send or receive messages for the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

I have tried un installing Windows Live and then Re Installing and didn't work.

We have Microsoft Security Essentials as our Security and Firewall.

Any assistance welcomed in simple terms as not an IT person.
