I have Windows Live Mail 2012 and Windows 8.1. While I have the Windows Live Mail program open, I don't hear the sound notification when I get a new email. Also, when then program is closed, but the icon is in my taskbar, I don't get a sound notification. I set the program up for sound notification and double checked that Windows sound is set up properly. My sound configurations are OK as I get sound from other programs and my speaker volume is good.

I sure hope that someone can help me with this issue.
