I received an e-mail - Subject: Christmas Funnies

This e-mail contains a number of very funny Christmas cartoons.

I know this because the e-mail opens just fine in Microsoft Office Outlook.

- - - BUT - - -

When I try to open this in Windows Live Mail - - Windows Live Mail shuts down completely!

Something in this e-mail is causing this to happen, and I would surely like to know what it is,

and why Microsoft Office Outlook can handle this, and Windows Live Mail cannot.

What should I be looking for?  I am just a computer user, not a computer guru or programmer.

Or should I not bother as this is just another foible of Windows Live Mail?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium.  I have to wonder how the e-mail apps or whatever associated

with Windows 8.1 and the future Windows 10 would handle this particular e-mail.

It seems to me that the features of email are getting less and less desireable as time goes by,

and that is a shame.
