Using Windows Live Mail 2012 on a Win7 pc. This issue began following a Microsoft email about KB3093954. The update was installed and that's when the problems began.
Several Hotmail accounts, an AT&T account, and my primary .msn a/c are configured. The only one NOT working is the primary .msn account, which is my default business a/c!!!
The Send/Receive function results in the following error msg:
"Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (xxxxx) account.
Server Error: 0x80070057
Server: 'https://m.hotmail.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80070057"
The account has been deleted and re-added 3 times since. Everything downloads and works for a few days, then it stops again. I saw some chat about problems with the original version of this KB, so uninstalled it, re-downloaded a new version, to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated. Hate to have to keep going in through the browser to retrieve web mail for this one a/c.
Did you ever get this resolved? 3/31/16 I began having issues with only one email account and all of the others come through fine. I do use @msn.com for my email accts. I hope you found the answer and can help me.
