I have a Windows 7 laptop that I have had for several years and I use Windows Live Mail. I purchased a new laptop with Windows 10 and in the process of installing a number of Microsoft products I created
a Windows Live Account. After doing this, I am no longer able to access my mail through Windows Live Mail on the Windows 7 machine. I get an error "unable to send or receive messages ...". Also Windows Live Mail is now asking for my security credentials.
I enter what I think is the correct UN/PW, but it fails. I tried to resest my PW and set the PW in Window Live Accounts to the reset PW - all to no avail. I am fairly certain this is a PW issue, but I don't know how fix it - I am obviously not MS savvy.
