Windows Live Mail recognizing old messages.

I was using Windows Live Mail in Windows 10, but 10 crashed. My computer tech returned me to Windows 7. He saved the AppData folders in a separate place. What do I do so that Windows Live Mail recognizes all the old messages (over 7000 of them)? WLM has already downloaded today's messages and I don't want to lose those either.
