What is going on with Windows live mail today?
After some windows updates updates ( including mail)  I received an email that stated welcome to your new outlook mobile experience .

Since then my live mail is receiving and downloading  duplicated copies of every email sent, saved, or received as well as those that have been deleted .  I deleted about 500 of them only to find they have reappeared once again , there must be over 1000's of  email's !!! Also several of my folders have disappeared but can be seen still on the web based mail .
Furthermore  the emails received often have strange dates on them (1601) , some are blank with just the header  and many have icons as shown below !!! This is a total mess and a nightmare.
