My internet service provider Fidelity Communications moved our emails from Google to a new platform hyperoffice on June 9th. We were instructed to change the imap and smtp and port settings which I did, then we had to migrate our emails by entering our usernames and passwords which all worked and my emails started coming in. However from then on ALL HELL breaks loose when I try to do anything with my messages. Lets say I try to delete a message, it gives me an error message "the selected messages could not be copied to the folder" and under <<details it says ; COPY failed. no such mail box, Configuration: Account: Windows Live. Server:imap.securedurl.com User name: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** Protocol: IMAP Port993 Secure(SSL): 1 Code: 800cccd2. All of these settings are correct for incoming mail. The only way I can delete a message is to go to my providers web base mail and delete them, but this is cumbersome. Now lets say I want to move a message from my inbox to one of my folders I get the same error message I just showed you, with one exception. Another box pops up saying "moving messages". This box will RUN TILL HELL FREEZES OVER. You can hit the cancel button, and it will continue to say canceling all night if you let it. The only way to stop it is to use the 'task manager'. I have a list of folders along the left side of the program ie: Quick Vews with sub folders unread email, etc. ; Windows Live with subfolders Inbox, with subfolders; [Gmail] with  subfolders, etc.

I cannot manipulate any message or folder without getting error messages. Before when my service provider used google mail I could do anything inside Windows Live mail. I have folders full of messages that I need to keep and they are there but I really can't do anything with them.

The only thing that works is that my email messages are cming from my provider into Windows Live, so how can I get the program functional again?

I have the same problem but there doesn’t appear to be any answers for it here, there or anywhere as far as I can see. I think it is to do with Windows 7 which is not a patch on Windows XP alas. Certainly won’t download Windows 10 even if it is free.
