When I type in the characters (6) into a message in Windows Live Mail, the characters get replace with the icon of a red devil's head.  My research showed this was a problem back in Windows Vista also.  No virus or malware scan that I have used has detected this malware, including the windows malware removal tool msert.exe or been able to remove it.
