I am new to this forum and I am unaware if my Live Mail problem has been an issue for others, but hope someone can offer a solution. I have been using Windows Live Mail without any problems for several years
Today when I logged in to Live Mail to get mail it showed two new messages in the inbox with name and title visible in bold, however the body content of the mail didn't display in the main mail pane and the bold did not change to regular type as if the mail was read. I then found I could not send email out from Live Mail either - some message box appeared indicating the address is not in Contacts. So my next move was to check Contacts and to my surprise the whole area is empty and shows no Contacts at all. As a test I tried adding a contact but the add contact window did not open.
Further inspection showed Calendar, RSS and Newsgroups all work. Ran troubleshooting and got Incompatible Application message and a reference to wlmail What is it? What might have caused this problem to occur? I haven't made any changes to the computer or added any anti-virus software.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance to anyone who offers assistance
