Just re-installed W7 and downloaded and installed windows essentials. I imported all my contacts and accounts etc into Live Mail and can receive ok BUT when I try to reply or send a new email I get the following:

"A problem occurred while trying to open this message

A problem has occurred. Please try again"

Same message if I try to reply or create a new email.  I've tried to re-install windows essentials and just live mail but wont allow me to do so.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.
