A few days ago I updated to Windows 8 Pro 64 bit and 8.1 from Windows Ultimate 64 bit. Windows Live Mail (where I have many important emails in folders,) will try to open - it does display an opened folder, but then hangs. The blue "wait," circle remains
until I shut it down with Task Manager. I would do a clean install of Windows Essentials, but I would need to back up my emails and folders first. I found a process to back up emails in Windows 8, but in *.1 I cannot find a file called "app data." I am
