I am running Windows Live Mail on a Windows 8.1 laptop (with VIPRE as my anti-virus software). WLM worked just fine until today. Now, if I double-click on a email note, the message window opens in the background window and I can't bring it to the foreground. Similarly, if I click the Email Message button to author a new email, the new message window opens in the background and I can bring it to the foreground. So I can no longer use WLM to author new email! Thanks for your consideration.
