Hi,

I have both an old a a new PC Windows Live Mail.

I have been able to transfer the Contacts from the old to the new, but I have had difficulty transferring Messages from the old to the new.

So I want to keep the messages on the old PC without any more arriving in its In Box.  I see that one can make Windows Live Mail work Off Line, but every time it is started up it reverts to working On line, so would receive more emails.

Can I change a setting in the old PC to make Windows Live Mail inactive without deleting the account (and all Messages in that account).  e.g. entering a false email address?

Thanks,

Alwyn
