I am having issues sending email on what I believe to be Windows Live Mail for Windows 6 or 7.  When I attempt to sync the email (and therefore hopefully get the email out of my outbox and into the rest of the world), I receive this message.

An unknown error has occurred.

I have tried multiple things; changing my outgoing mail port, checking the secure box, etc.  However, nothing seems to be working.  Does anyone here have any suggestions?  Is this an issue with my internet, or Windows Live?
