Windows Live Mail is not responding when I access the Contacts tab

Original title: Windows Live Mail -

 

When going to CONTACTS tab a 'Not Responding' message is shown and I cannot move away from the screen without exiting Live Mail! Can any one help with this issue?

All other aspects of Windows Live Mail works as normal.
