My laptop crashed during a Windows update.

I had a *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email address which I ran through Windows Live Mail (WLM). Now I've lost all contacts and emails.

I understand that I can no longer download WLM but I would really like to be able to retrieve everything that was on it. Were all those details stored locally or is it a lost cause.
