Hi- I have gone thru multiple strings and never addresses my problem.  I have Window 8 and loading with Live Mail and have conferred with Comcast that all my settings are correct.  I can't send or receive emails and the Live Mail program just freezes with I hit Send/Receive.

In 20 yrs. I never had so much trouble setting up a new computer and email.  They used to make it easy....now just complicated.

I do just the same error message that other reported but not the program won't even bring up the error box...it just cycles trying to send.

Any ideas?
