Hi folks,

I am trying to copy my storage folders from my old computer (Windows 7 SP1) to my new computer (Windows 10).

I've found the Storage Folder in C:UsersUserAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows Live Mail, but there are several mail folders missing from this location, particularly those recently added. For example, in the left-hand sidebar I created a folder called "Insurance" and made three subfolders called "Health", "Home" and "Travel". I moved several emails into these, and they are still active and accessible within the program, but when I copied the Storage Folder from AppDataLocal, none of these emails existed.

The three subfolders aren't in the folder tree in the AppDataLocal location.

What I don't understand is :

1) if I have these folders active, accessible and working in the WLM program, why are they not in the WLM storage folder?

2) How do I refresh the folder to reflect the actual emails?

3) Where are these stored emails being kept if they aren't in the program folder?

4) If all else fails, how can I back them up?

Thanks, Alan
