When I open windows live mail I get an error box with lots on it. Some of it is as follows:
"Failed to initialize Shared Canvas:system.configuration Errors Exception: Configuration system failed to initialize---> System.Configuration....(C:Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\V2.0.50727\Config\machine.config line135)
at system....[~20 more lines]"

Choices at the bottom are Abort, Retry, or Ignore

Only Ignore gets me out of the error screens and allows me to view my inbox.

Of course if I try to open a new email, forward or reply,  I get this same error.

And I have not received any email since this began happening. I have used  a registry cleaner  so maybe I allowed the deletion of something.

I have thought that reloading the Windows Live mail program  would replace what seems to be corrupted files but microsoft says that Windows Essentials are not supported for Vista, which I have. My hp computer is a 64 bit system.

Instead of spending alot of time figuring out this problem,I would rather install Windows Mail which I have with my Office Professional suite and I would need to know how to transfer all the email to it. In fact I would rather do this since I have never figured out the advantage of windows live mail since my mail is through Comcast and I have access to my email on the web.

Thank you! John
