Since upgrading to Win10, I am now receiving the following error when Windows Live Mail tries to reach the Hotmail server (all my email accounts are Microsoft accounts (live & msn accts):
Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (xxxxx) account.
Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003
This is occurring on both my my computers that I converted to Win10.
- I have looked at ALL the forums and tried everything that people on the forums have suggested.
- I have completely uninstalled WLM (including Registry Entries).
- I have tried to update the existing registry entries, per the suggestions in the forums.
- I have tried running 'repair' instead of uninstall and that didn't help.
- I have tried completely deleting the mail accounts that couldn't sync with the mail server, then I reinstalled those accounts, and that didn't help.
- One forum entry I saw suggested that I use the 'Windows Mail' program that is included in Win10. However, after thoroughly searching for such a program (even asking Cortina for help), I found nothing (except WLM) on my computer.
I do not have MS Office on these computers. Otherwise, I would use Outlook. I can access my mail accounts though Hotmail, but it doesn't have nearly the same features that WLM has. Please, please help me get rid of this annoying error and access my email accounts from WLM. Thank you!
