I've started getting the following error message when I click send/receive in Windows Live Mail. I AM able to send and receive e-mails and the webmail version that I sometimes use through Time Warner Cable works fine -- but it seems like the client version of WLM doesn't completely synch with the server and it times out. I'm using Windows 7 Professional and this is my IMAP (not POP3) account. The error message always says the "header download for the 'xxxxxxxx' folder (Junk E-mail, or .ERROR or Trash) did not complete. Time Warner confirmed that my e-mail account settings were all correct.
Any ideas on how I resolve the error message so it doesn't keep popping up? I saw some suggestions in other Forums about uninstalling WLM and then re-installing it again but I'd prefer to not have to do that. Here's the error message:
Unable to send or receive messages for the RR IMAP account. Header download for the 'Junk E-mail' folder did not complete. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.
Server Response: The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated.
