I'm asking this question on behalf of a client of mine.  He's currently running MS Windows Live Mail as his email client, and is having problems with the "bell" or audio alert which should announce an email being received.  The option is definitely selected, but the audio alert itself works only very sporadically.  Not consistent at all.  Has anyone else run into this issue, and if so, any suggestions for a solution?  Thanks very much in advance.
