I have 2 pcs. They are both running Windows 7 and are using exactly the same version of Windows Live Mail. Neither PC has Live Mail Essentials.

On one PC (the newer) I can receive emails with embedded photos, graphics etc without any problems.

On the other, embedded photos appear as a picture at the top of the email with arrows below it saying "View Slide Show". Next to that is an HTML document which if I open contains nothing at all. What is causing this and how do I turn it off so that emails are displayed exactly as they were sent ? Some graphics are missing entirely. And strangely if I pick the option to forward an email all the inline pictures etc show in place.

I tested by sending an email from the PC with no problems. The photo was merely inserted into the email by right clicking and choosing copy.
